ROM has been released for the Samsung Galaxy S I9000 so if you are an I9000 owner and want MIUI goodness on your phone, read on for the complete guide.
The MIUI ROM is a custom ROM available for several devices that brings elements of the iPhone user interface to Android phones. The version featured here is part of a series of MIUI ROMs for several Samsung Galaxy S Series devices including Samsung Fascinate, Samsung Vibrant and now, Samsung Galaxy S I9000.
This particular version is being developed collectively by XDA-Developers forum members Master,Jumaaneface and Darkyy so it has got some high-profile development going into it. At the moment, several key features such as phone, SMS, camera (with black & white preview), Wi-Fi, Android Market,Flash Player, audio out and external speakers are working fine. Internal and external SD card support is being fixed right now while a few features including cellular data, auto rotation, GPS and call ending are buggy, though with active development, all these are expected to get ironed out soon.
Now that you have had the details, lets get on with the installation procedure.
