>Skype 5.1 for Mac Released

Good news for Mac OS X users. Now you can use Skype on your Mac. The most popular VoIP and video calling service Skype has been released for Mac OS X users. Skype 5.1 comes with new features, design improvements, and fixes some bug. This version of Skype includes “improvements to the group video calling interface”. Now you can easily identify and focus on active speakers in group calls. Also you can choose the recent numbers in the dial pad. Skype 5.1 also fixes iSight FireWire webcam detection issue.

When Skype 5 for Mac was released many people were disappointed by the new UI of this app and created custom “themes” for the app. So in order to redesign the look of chat in Skype for Mac, a design competition is also launched by Skype with many Apple related prizes such as Apple TV, MacBook Air, and iPad. You can download Skype 5.1 for Mac from here. You can watch the demo video of Skype 5.1 for Mac embedded below.
